      CAN communication line malfunction between start stop unit and PCM<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      PCM internal malfunction<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n

        \n Diagnostic support note<\/b><\/p>\n
      • \n

        This is a continuous monitor (other).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        The check engine light does not illuminate.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        FREEZE FRAME DATA is not available.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Snapshot data is available.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        DTC is stored in the PCM memory.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

\n VERIFY RELATED PENDING CODE AND\/OR DTC<\/b><\/p>\n\n

Yes<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

Go to the applicable PENDING CODE or DTC inspection.<\/p>\n

\n INSPECT START STOP UNIT CONNECTOR CONDITION<\/b><\/p>\n

    Switch the ignition off.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Disconnect the start stop unit connector.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Inspect for poor connection (such as damaged\/pulled-out pins, corrosion).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Is there any malfunction?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n

Yes<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

\n

Repair or replace the connector and\/or terminals, then go to Step 6.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

No<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

\n

Go to the next step.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

\n INSPECT PCM CONNECTOR CONDITION<\/b><\/p>\n
