Government and local laws must be followed.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>A towed vehicle usually should have its drive wheels (rear wheels) off the ground. If excessive damage or other conditions prevent this, use wheel dollies.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004150.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004150.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>When towing with the rear wheels on the ground, release the parking brake.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">CAUTION:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>Do not tow the vehicle pointed backward with driving wheels on the ground. This may cause internal damage to the transmission.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004151.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004151.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Do not tow with sling-type equipment. This could damage your vehicle. The tie down hook is used only for transporting the vehicle by ship.
