When the trunk lid is opened, the trunk lid latch switch is on (1) and the BCM detects (2) a trunk lid latch switch on signal.<\/p>\n<p>            2. When the BCM detects the trunk lid latch switch on signal, it sends (3) the trunk compartment light on request signal to the electrical supply unit (ESU) via LIN communication.<\/p>\n<p>            3. When the electrical supply unit (ESU) receives the trunk compartment light on request signal, it turns the transistor on (4).<\/p>\n<p>            4.
