Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See <a href=\"SM352783\">NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            2. Remove the trunk end trim. (See <a href=\"SM356202\">TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            3. Remove the trunk lid latch and release actuator. (See <a href=\"SM356111\">TRUNK LID LATCH AND RELEASE ACTUATOR REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            4. Press in the latch lever of the trunk lid latch and release actuator using a flathead screwdriver, and set it to the latched condition.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005437.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005437.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            5.
