Open the trunk lid.<\/p>\n<p>            2. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See <a href=\"SM352783\">NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            3. Remove the trunk end trim. (See <a href=\"SM356202\">TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            4. Disconnect the connectors.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002591.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002591.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            5. Remove the bolts.<\/p>\n<p>            6. Remove the trunk lid opener cable.<\/p>\n<p>            7. Remove the trunk lid latch and release actuator. (See <a href=\"\"#id09140051330001\">Trunk Lid Latch And Release Actuator Installation Note<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            8. Install in the reverse order of removal.<br \/>\n          <a name=\"id09140051330001\" id=\"id09140051330001\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Trunk Lid Latch And Release Actuator Installation Note<\/h4>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>Refer to [TRUNK LID ADJUSTMENT] and adjust the trunk lid latch and release actuator so that the height difference and gap of the trunk lid is within the specification.
