Read the service warnings\/cautions in the Workshop Manual before handling the seat (side air bag integrated). (See <a href=\"SM353470\">AIR BAG SYSTEM SERVICE WARNINGS [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM]<\/a>.) Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait <b>1 min or more<\/b>. (See <a href=\"SM352783\">NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            2. Disconnect the seat warmer unit connector.<\/p>\n<p>            3. Verify that the continuity between the seat warmer unit terminals is as indicated in the table.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005805.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005805.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005806.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005806.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If not as indicated in the table, replace the seat. (See <a href=\"SM356082\">SEAT REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            4. Connect the seat warmer unit connector.<\/p>\n<p>            5. Connect the negative battery cable. (See <a href=\"SM352783\">NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            6. Switch the ignition to ACC or ON (engine off or on).<\/p>\n<p>            7. Turn the seat warmer switch off and leave it for <b>30 min or more<\/b> to let the temperature around the thermistor reach normal temperature.<\/p>\n<p>            8. Measure the resistance between seat warmer control unit connector terminals F and H, and record it together with the temperature around the thermistor.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004135.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004135.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">NOTE:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>Measure the temperature around the thermistor using a dry-bulb thermometer.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            9. Operate the seat warmer switch to warm the seat heater unit with an indicator light turned on.<\/p>\n<p>            10. Measure the resistance between seat warmer control unit connector terminals F and H, and record it together with the temperature around the thermistor.<\/p>\n<p>            11. Operate the seat warmer switch to warm the seat heater unit with three indicator lights turned on.<\/p>\n<p>            12. Measure the resistance between seat warmer control unit connector terminals F and H, and record it together with the temperature around the thermistor.<\/p>\n<p>            13. Verify that the resistance varies as the temperature increases.<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If the resistance does not change, replace the seat back trim. (See <a href=\"SM356083\">SEAT BACK TRIM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>          <a name=\"id09130080140003\" id=\"id09130080140003\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h5>Seat cushion<\/h5>\n<p>            1. Disconnect the seat warmer unit connector.<\/p>\n<p>            3. Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait <b>1 min or more<\/b>. (See <a href=\"SM352783\">NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            2. Disconnect the seat warmer unit connector.<\/p>\n<p>            3.
