  • Configuration error (data not received)

  • Configuration error (not configured)

    U2300:56

  • Configuration error (ineffective/non-interchangeable data read)

    U2300:64

  • Configuration error (error value read)

Detection condition

  • Audio amplifier detects configuration data not record or data error

Possible cause

NOTE:

  • To correctly write the configuration data sent from the instrument cluster to the audio amplifier to the audio amplifier, 30 s or more need to have elapsed since the ignition was switched ON (engine off or on).

  • Instrument cluster configuration is not completed.

  • Module configuration procedure was not completed properly

  • Correct data cannot be received from instrument cluster

  • Instrument cluster malfunction

  • Audio amplifier malfunction

VERIFY INSTRUMENT CLUSTER DTCs

Yes

Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.

(See DTC TABLE [INSTRUMENT CLUSTER].)

No

Go to the next step.

2

VERIFY ALL SYSTEM DTCs

  • Clear the DTC for the audio amplifier using the M-MDS.

    (See CLEARING DTC [AUDIO AMPLIFIER].)

  • Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and wait for 30 s or more.

  • Perform a CMDTC self-test using the M-MDS.

    (See DTC INSPECTION [AUDIO AMPLIFIER].)

  • Are there any modules other than the audio amplifier displaying the same DTC?

Yes

Using the M-MDS, perform the instrument cluster configuration (using As-Built data) again, then go to the next step.

(See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER CONFIGURATION (USING AS-BUILT DATA).)

No

Go to the next step.

VERIFY ALL SYSTEM DTCs AGAIN

  • Clear the DTC for the audio amplifier using the M-MDS.

    (See CLEARING DTC [AUDIO AMPLIFIER].)

  • Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and wait for 30 s or more.

  • Perform a CMDTC self-test using the M-MDS.

    (See DTC INSPECTION [AUDIO AMPLIFIER].)

  • Are there any modules other than the audio amplifier displaying the same DTC?

Yes

Replace the instrument cluster, then go to the next step.

No

Go to the next step.

RESET CONFIGURATION DATA FROM INSTRUMENT CLUSTER TO AUDIO AMPLIFIER

Yes

Replace the audio amplifier, then go to the next step.

(See AUDIO AMPLIFIER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

No

Go to the next step.

VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED

  • Are any other DTCs displayed?

Yes

Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.

(See DTC TABLE [AUDIO AMPLIFIER].)

No

DTC troubleshooting completed.
