DTC U3003:17 [AUTO LEVELING CONTROL MODULE]

Description

Auto leveling control module high power supply voltage input

Detection condition

  • Auto leveling control module power supply circuit voltage of 15.2 V or more is detected for 5 s or more with the ignition switched ON (engine off or on).

Fail-safe

  • The headlight leveling actuator is stopped at the position when the malfunction is determined.

Possible cause

  • DTCs are stored in the PCM.

  • Battery malfunction

  • Generator malfunction

  • Auto leveling control module malfunction

VERIFY PCM DTCs

Yes

Repair the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.

(See DTC TABLE [PCM (SKYACTIV-G 2.0)].)

No

Go to the next step.

INSPECT BATTERY

  • Is the battery normal?

Yes

Go to the next step.

No

Replace the battery, then go to Step 4.

INSPECT GENERATOR

Yes

Go to the next step.

No

Replace the generator, then go to the next step.

(See GENERATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0].)

VERIFY THAT REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED

Yes

Repeat the inspection from Step 1.

No

Go to the next step.

5

VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED

  • Are any other DTCs displayed?

Yes

Repair the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.

No

DTC troubleshooting completed.
