  • The pedestrian protection is for reducing impact and injury to pedestrians in a collision with the vehicle.

Construction

Head protection

  • The hood has an impact energy absorbing structure to reduce impact to the pedestrian’s head in a collision.

  • A clearance has been assured between the hood and the engine so that the hood can deform.

    Hood
