TRANSMISSION FLUID TEMPERATURE (TFT) SENSOR

Purpose/Function

  • The transmission fluid temperature (TFT) sensor detects the ATF temperature in the oil pan.

Construction

  • The TFT sensor and the coupler component are equipped to the control valve body component as a single unit.

Operation

  • The transmission fluid temperature (TFT) sensor outputs the signal corresponding to the ATF temperature in the oil pan to the TCM.
