CRUISE MAIN INDICATOR LIGHT (AMBER), CRUISE SET INDICATOR LIGHT (GREEN) [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]

Purpose

    Cruise main indicator light (amber)

  • The cruise main indicator light (amber) turns on while the cruise control system is on stand-by to inform the driver that the cruise control system is on stand-by.

    Cruise set indicator light (green)

  • The cruise set indicator light (green) turns on while the cruise control system is operating to inform the driver that the cruise control system is operating.

Function

  • The illumination conditions for the cruise main indicator light (amber) and cruise set indicator light (green) are as follows.

*1
The PCM stores the previous set speed

Construction

  • The cruise main indicator light (amber) and cruise set indicator light (green) are built into the instrument cluster.

Operation

1. The instrument cluster receives (1) a cruise main indicator light (amber) or cruise set indicator light (green) illumination request signal from the PCM via CAN communication.

2. The instrument cluster turns the transistor on (2) based on the cruise main indicator light (amber) or cruise set indicator light (green) illumination request signal.

3. When the transistor turns on, the cruise main indicator light (amber) or cruise set indicator light (green) turns on (3).

Fail-safe
