DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT (DRL) BULB REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
Daytime Running Light (DRL) (Bulb Type)
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)
2. Partially peel back the front mudguard No.1. (See FRONT MUDGUARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
3. Turn the socket counterclockwise and remove it in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure.
CAUTION:

If there is oil or dirt on the surface of the light bulb, excessive heat will build up and the life of the light bulb will be shortened. If the light bulb glass area is touched, wipe off any dirt using a soft cloth dampened with detergent diluted in water (approx. 5 %).
4. Remove the daytime running light (DRL) bulb.
5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
Daytime Running Light (DRL) (LED Type)
NOTE:

The LED for the daytime running light (DRL) cannot be replaced separately. If there is any malfunction in the LED, replace the daytime running light (DRL) as a single unit. (See DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT (DRL) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
