REQUEST SWITCH INSPECTION
Driver’s Side
1. Fully close the door glass.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)
3. Remove the following parts:
a. Door trim (See DOOR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
b. Door module panel (See DOOR MODULE PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
c. Door key cylinder (See DOOR KEY CYLINDER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
d. Outer handle (See OUTER HANDLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
4. Verify that the continuity is as indicated in the table.

If not as indicated in the table, replace the outer handle. (See OUTER HANDLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
Passenger’s Side
1. Fully close the door glass.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)
3. Remove the following parts:
a. Door trim (See DOOR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
b. Door module panel (See DOOR MODULE PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
c. Outer handle (See OUTER HANDLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
4. Verify that the continuity is as indicated in the table.

If not as indicated in the table, replace the outer handle. (See OUTER HANDLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
