DISC PAD (FRONT) REPLACEMENT [WITH SINGLE PISTON CALIPER]

1. Remove in the order indicated in the table.

2. Install in the reverse order of removal.

3. After installation, depress the brake pedal a few times, rotate the wheel by hand, and verify that the brake does not drag.

Caliper Installation Bolt Removal Note

1. Remove the caliper installation bolt shown in the figure and lift up the caliper.

Guide Plate Installation Note

1. Apply shock absorbing material to the position (between the guide plate and the mounting support) shown in the figure.

2. Peel off the backing of the double-sided adhesive tape from the shock absorbing material.

3. Install the guide plate to the mounting support.

4. Apply shock absorbing material to all guide plates using the above procedure.

Disc Pad Installation Note

1. Clean the exposed area of the piston.

2. Push the piston in using the commercially available disc brake expand tool.

3. Install the disc pads to the mounting support.

Caliper Installation Bolt Installation Note

1. Return the caliper to the original position and install the caliper installation bolt.
